Exciting News

As you may have seen in the news recently, C&A Industries, our parent company, has been sold. This will provide exciting opportunities for employees of the company as they join forces with Medical Solutions. It obviously will also change things for The Kim Foundation. Since long before I started working at the foundation, we were housed with our Corporate “Family” at C&A Industries. We’ve worked side by side creating powerful marketing campaigns, embracing a positive culture where we are supported each day by our fellow employees, and truly making an impact on behavioral health for not only the Omaha community, but every person inside the C&A walls. We couldn’t have made it to the point we are without the help and support of each and every one of them.

I can’t begin to describe how much I will miss walking into this building every day knowing I am fortunate enough to come to a job I love that is supported by hundreds of employees who get behind everything we do. They’ve played a key role in our success. But with time comes change, and with change comes opportunity. This is no different for The Kim Foundation in this instance. We will continue operating independently, making a lasting impact on the community while instilling hope and saving lives. Details of the move will be communicated to our supporters as they become available. For now please know we will not only continue operating and staying true to our mission, but we look forward to potential expansion and growth in the years to come because of this opportunity.

As Roy T. Bennett once said, “It’s only after you’ve stepped outside your comfort zone that you begin to change, grow, and transform.” Our team here at The Kim Foundation is extremely excited about this opportunity of change, growth, and transformation as we continue to make our mark on the Omaha community and beyond!
