About us

Athletic Trainers (ATs) are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide sports medicine and primary care to athletes and non-athlete patients alike. Athletic Training includes prevention, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.

Athletic Trainers are licensed or otherwise regulated in 49 states. Graduates of the Athletic Training program will be eligible to take the Board of Certification (BOC) Athletic Trainer exam with successful completion to be awarded the ATC professional credential.
